Corporate History & Philosophies
QVine was founded in 2000 on the principle of customer value; that is,
delivering the right product at the right time for the right price. We have
built our core values around this basic concept:
-
Success -
Our only measure of success is the delivery of working, useful software to our
customers
-
Ethics -
we treat our customers and employees in an honest and professional manner
-
Excellence - we pursue excellence in every
endeavor, focusing on performance, accountability, cooperation, and open
communication
-
Innovation - we invest heavily in maintaining
awareness of emerging technologies, products, and solutions
-
Teamwork - we encourage and reward individual and
team performance, entrepreneurial spirit, prudent risk-taking, and common sense
-
Flexibility -
we support an organizational structure that provides flexibility in responding
to changing business environments and opportunities
QVine has been a proud sponsor of
the Adopt-A-Family program since 2006. The Adopt-A-Family program
is integrated with
Our Daily Bread (ODB), a volunteer-based organization focused
on easing the plight of low income residents in Fairfax County, Virginia.
Each fall, as the holiday season approaches, underserved families in Fairfax
County are in need of assistance. These "working poor" families earn salaries
far below the amount that allows them the luxury of providing for special
holidays. Families are referred by participating agencies, schools and faith
communities and sponsors are provided information on family members' needs and
wishes.
QVine's employees donate to this program every year and the
company matches all contributions. QVine employees then get to play Santa
Claus and shop for the gifts, wrap and deliver the presents to the adopted
families. The joy and gratitude shown by these families is truly
heartwarming and gives us great satisfaction in giving back to the community.
In 2010, QVine was able to provide Christmas for three families in Fairfax
County. QVine was able to provide toys, clothes and much needed items
such as gift cards to local grocery stores for the three families. There
were a total of eleven children ranging in ages from 13 months old to 17 years
old. Because of the generosity of QVine and its employees, families in
Fairfax County will have a Very Merry Christmas.
